Koh Phnov, which means island of Malabar orange, is located on the Mekong River in O’Svay commune. This island village was selected as an ecotourism community because of its natural beauty during the dry season. Mr. Kong Vuthy, Chief of O’Svay Communities Eco-Tourism said that there is a unique situation of Koh Phnov during the dry season. It
is surrounded by white sand beaches along the Mekong River while the eastern and western sides of the island provide many rapids of clear water fl owing over waterfalls.
